Listening to some feedback from Jimmy and others, we’ve modified the width of the site to be under 1024px the standard for web sites nowadays. You won’t really notice any change except when you view the page from smaller laptops or smaller resolution screens, you won’t have to scroll through the width area.

Hey guys, reading a thread on Twitter and seeing it happen myself repeatable..eg. Activity tab under comment box clicking tweetstream settings, brings up authorize with twitter button, clicking authorize with twitter does nothing as in bringing up a window etc. going through this step over 3 times and still nothing. I know you guys are aware of the twitter problems from the thread. One thing of mention is when I was on yesterday and clicked it, it did work…however I didn’t have nor take the time to sync twitter and just closed it as a to do later thing. Now that I have the time nothing comes up, perhaps that helps put a finger on the twitter issue? Also along the same lines since it involves twitter. Twitter does have that character count limit, which I personally hate but eh what can ya do, Anyways thinking of their character limit it made me wonder, in Vybees sync with twitter does vybee go past Twitters character limit and create two posts? Or adhere to Twitters count and force you to remove characters and shorten the message as if you are on Twitter? Just my thoughts as I am passing through certain things. By the way I love the quick tag function and the edit your post functionality! Any chance of spell check:P~jim

Hey Jimmy… I’m glad someone is making good use of the support system. Yeah! As for the Twitter Sync, it is strange… Sometimes it works perfectly. I’ve sat with a guy as he got it synced up. But another time I sat with someone and we couldn’t get it working at all. So this will be looked into. After the initial tests, we will probably just post to Twitter and not import any Tweets into personal profiles so we can keep our site a bit more clear and group activity focused. As far as Twitter’s limits, it will make just one post with whatever Twitter allows + an auto generated link back to read the whole post here on Vybee.com. Hope all this helps while we look into the Twitter matter further.
